NWIR is guided by a strong framework of bylaws, processes and procedures that are designed to ensure implementation of the identified goals of mentoring, education, networking, and recruitment.  The mission of the Education component of NWIR is to create high-quality learning programs and experiences for men and women to build successful businesses and careers in roofing.

NWIR members make presentations at Council meetings, at regional and national roofing trade shows, and within their own companies.  NWIR members also present and participate in online webinars, a list of which can be found below.

Jennifer Keegan and Kayla Schlicker of the NWiR Education Committee will be presenting “Mentoring: How to be successful once you’ve gotten your foot in the door!” on Tuesday, October 17th at 11am EDT. During the webinar, we will be reviewing how one becomes a mentor/mentee and what it means for the women in these roles. We will be highlighting some real-world examples of mentor/mentee relationships based off of the content that you submitted.
