The NWiR Kansas City Council is making a difference this winter by organizing a coat drive for Cross-Lines Community Outreach, a well known safety net for the community of Kansas City, Kansas. NWiR Kansas City hosted their first annual Harvesters for Hot Dogs. The event was sponsored by CertainTeed, which included prize giveaways and a food truck! Dozens of people showed up with donations from all over the metro from various roofing contractors and distributors while enjoying a food truck lunch. At the event, over 800 pounds of food was collected and donated to Harvesters. It was a great event!
The NWiR Dallas Fort Worth Council had our annual Holiday party featuring shop small vendors! We networked, ate, and shopped till we dropped. This is always our last event of the year, we enjoy spending time with the ladies of our council (and the men who like to shop too) and just enjoying an evening of fun and fellowship.
