Jess Cress is currently the Special Projects and IT Social Media Specialist at Bone Dry Roofing Company in the beautiful Athens, Georgia. After making the leap from medicine to roofing in 2013, she has held many roles throughout the industry. Jess began her roofing career at SRS distribution learning the minds of the supplier and the technicalities of the products. She focused on management and learning the ropes of the SRS model. A large move to Florida provided her with opportunity to work with a specialty tile and slate roofing company. As she learned the contractor side of the industry with its many business facets, Jess also spent time learning installation of multiple roof systems. With her passion for roofing, Jess found a home with the women and men that serve the roofing industry. She finds her inspiration in business owners, roofing technology, and the women that strengthen the industry with their various positions.
Jess is happy to reside in her hometown of Watkinsville, Georgia with her partner and three children. She is found with an instrument, microphone, kayak, or tent in her spare time. Jess’s passions include knowledge of business, striving for success, and using music as medicine for others. Jess can always be seen with a smile on her face.
