Content Submission

NEWSLETTER SUBMISSIONS

The NWIR newsletter, "Compass," is published by the 10th of each month. Content submissions for the newsletter should be submitted by the 28th day of the month prior. Sample content submissions include:

• Council happenings/updates and photos
• Committee project updates
• "Shaping Our Future" featured profile - highlighting member job promotions or accomplishments
• Timely, industry-related content that would be beneficial to our readers

To submit content for the monthly newsletter, please e-mail Amy Penny, Manager of Membership & Communications, at amy@nationalwomeninroofing.org.

BLOG CONTENT

NWIR maintains a weekly blog sharing insights and a variety of content of interest to its members. 

Types of blog submissions could include:

• Interesting articles related to leadership or female empowerment
• Entries for "My Path to Roofing" feature - highlighting career trajectories of NWIR members
• Major council or committee accomplishments of interest to general membership

To submit content for consideration, please email Katie Bodiford, Executive Director, at katie@nationalwomeninroofing.org. Submissions should be received no later than 1 week prior to the preferred posting date.

SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT

NWIR posts on a variety of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Linked In and X. If you would like to have a post included on any of these sites, please complete a form by CLICKING HERE.  If you have questions, need assistance with your post, or need to include additional information, please reach out to Communications Committee Chair, Kim Reichert at kreichert@s-5.com.

*Please note that posts are planned a minimum of three (3) weeks in advance and scheduled 1 - 2 weeks in advance. Please allow a 7 day lead time for submissions.
