Councils are formed in a variety of ways: by city, state, or even a specific geographic region that can support a local group of members. Check out the map of active councils below and find one nearest to you!

Don't have a council near you?
If you don't have access to a local council near you, you can always start one yourself! Councils receive significant support from the national NWIR staff and we're ready to help you get the ball rolling if you are interested in starting a group of your own. NWIR also offers a Council Toolkit to help council leaders so we have all the resources you need to get started.
